Detectives have charged a former teacher at Campbelltown over the alleged ongoing sexual abuse of a student at a high school in Sydney's south-west.

Following extensive investigations, detectives arrested a 26-year-old man at Campbelltown Police Station just before 11am on Friday.
Police will allege the man groomed a 14-year-old boy and sexually assaulted him on numerous occasions between 2018 and 2019.
The accused has since been sacked from the school.
He was refused bail to appear in Campbelltown Local Court on Friday.
Shortly after his arrest, investigators executed a search warrant at a storage facility in Appin.
Detectives said they located and seized several items relevant to the investigation, including paintings.
These items will undergo forensic examination.
The man was charged with aggravated sexual assault - victim under the age of 16 years, aggravated sexual assault - victim under authority of offender, groom child for unlawful sexual activity, and possess child abuse material.
