They will also learn how to use their online power for good during the workshop hosted by PROJECT ROCKIT; Australia's youth led movement against bullying, hate and prejudice.
The Wollongong event is one of 40 free events taking place over the next two years which aims to build 10,000 secondary school digital ambassadors across 600 schools committed to making a kinder online world.
Co-founder and CEO Lucy Thomas said the partnership has been made possible thanks to PROJECT ROCKIT' s partnership with Facebook and Instagram.
The $1 million investment will upscale PROJECT ROCKIT's youth-driven approach and build a network of Digital Ambassadors who will lead social change against bullying online and offline in schools across Australia.
"Our vision for a PROJECT ROCKIT Digital Ambassador is to be a powerful source of leadership in the online world," she said.
"Digital Ambassadors recognise their power in the online world and use that power for good. They use their unique strengths to stand up, challenge the status quo and reclaim technology as a tool for positivity."
