The grade six students at St Brigid's Gwynneville have got on their bike to do entries for the Take Wollongong to the World Logo competition.

And they are wheely good.
The competition encourages the community to have a crack at designing the logo for the 2022 UCI Road World Cycling Championships which will be held in Wollongong.
Teacher Kate Sparks said the competition gave the students the opportunity to think creatively.
"We have learning tasks for the children and our approach at St Brigid's is we love to give them the opportunity to choose their path of learning," Ms Sparks said.
"These kids just jumped at it because they can just go off and create.
"We talked about Wollongong and the first thing they said was when you Google Wollongong a lighthouse comes up and the beaches come up. So we talked about what Wollongong means to us and many of the logos feature the lighthouse or the sea."
Ms Sparks said the project "100 per cent" gave the students a better understanding of the significance of having the world championships on our doorstep.
"It's not just a little old bike race," she said.
"The fact its going over a week and Wollongong is going to be the centre of the world for that time and we need to highlight our space here and bring into focus the great attributes Wollongong has."
Entries for the competition close at 5 pm on Friday. The competition is a unique collaboration between the Mercury, Cycling Australia and Destination Wollongong.
The overall competition winner will win some major prizes including a special "money can't buy" VIP package from Cycling Australia over the course of the week-long event in 2022 and a host of local tourism experiences. The best student entry outside the overall winner will get a special schools prize.
