The Illawarra's junior footballers have been rewarded for their efforts at last week's NSW All Schools Championships, with six athletes selected for their respective state teams.

Holy Spirit's Evan Ball, Illawarra Sports High's Flynn Madden and Figtree's Logan Mathie were picked in the NSW boys 16 and under team, with Madden and Mathie helping CHS firsts to the overall victory.
Edmund Rice pair Alexander Bonetig and Luke Genua flew the flag for the older boys, with the duo selected in the top NSW 19 and under team.
The girls were also successful, with Holy Spirit College student Jayme Millard picked in the NSW 18 and under girls team.
The selections came on the back of Illawarra Sports High's victory over Vincentia in the girls Bill Turner Trophy.
The 2-1 win secured the school the South Coast slot in the round of 16, where they will play Moruya.
