Prices at 1A Kembla Street, North Wollongong start from $2.35 million.
One of the selling agents, Neil Webster from Stone Real Estate said the whole floor, new four-bedroom apartments each have secure access and views across North Beach along the coast and to the escarpment.
Mr Webster said they had exchanged on one of the apartments on Thursday for $3 million.
He said it was sold to a Sydney couple who planned to use it as a weekender.
"They've got a large property in Sydney already; they like the South Coast and want something that suits their style, position and location," Mr Webster said.
He said the apartments, which are 204sqm internally, had attracted interest from potential Illawarra buyers looking to upsize, as well as from Sydney-siders seeking to downsize, relocate or own a weekender.
"All the open houses we've had, there's been large numbers of people coming through," Mr Webster said.
"There's obviously a few people coming out of curiosity to see how the other half lives, but we've also had a lot of interest from people who do have that $3 million in their back pocket."
Other features include a master bedroom featuring large walk-in wardrobe and ensuite finished with quality inclusions.
