Frasers Property Australia has appointed Simone Dyer, formerly deputy development director of Shell Cove, as the new lead of the project in the role of development director.
Ms Dyer is no stranger to the Shell Cove community.
In her previous role as design director at Frasers Property NSW, she has been actively involved in the strategic design development of The Waterfront, Shell Cove since 2012.
The Waterfront, Shell Cove is a joint venture development between Shellharbour City Council and Frasers Property Australia.
Ms Dyer takes the helm at a busy time, with the Shellharbour Marina and boat harbour, The Waterfront Town Centre, the tavern and restaurant precinct, harbour foreshore, library and community centre all progressing.
"This is an exciting time for Shell Cove as we gear up to deliver key pieces of amenity that will embed The Waterfront as the South Coast region's premier lifestyle and tourism location over the coming years," Ms Dyer said.
Ms Dyer takes over from Glenn Colquhoun, who has elected to take a break and pursue new career opportunities.
"Glenn has created a sound platform for Shell Cove to enter this next phase of delivery, and we wish him well in his future endeavours." Ms Dyer said.
Meanwhile, buyers will get another chance to secure beachfront land at The Waterfront, Shell Cove when three more oceanfront lots go to auction.
The three oceanfront lots will be offered at auction on July 28.
They are part of a larger release of six lots that make up The Beachside Collection, Stage 3 at The Waterfront.
The three oceanfront lots to be offered at auction range in size from 480sqm to 742sqm, and are located on Oceanfront Drive adjacent to Bass Point Tourist Road.
There is no reserve price available for these lots.
Also, the other three beachside lots in the release range from 496sqm to 798sqm.
They will be sold via electronic ballot on August 1.
