Police detectives have released an image of a bag believed to be connected to a armed robbery in a Kiama Downs supermarket.

A man armed with an axe entered the supermarket on Johnson Street at about 6.15am on Sunday, August 12, 2018.
The armed man threatened a 14-year-old female employee before stealing cash and fleeing the store in a stolen white van.
Police established a crime scene before the State Crime Command's Robbery and Serious Crime Squad took carriage of the investigation under Strike Force Tudawalli.
The van was later found abandoned nearby and was seized for forensic examination.
Fast forward to about 10am June 16, 2019, where a bag was located outside a hotel in Meroo Street, Bomaderry, before it was handed in to police.
A forensic examination of the bag linked it to the stolen vehicle used in the armed robbery.
Strike force investigators have released an image of the bag and are appealing for anyone who has information about it to come forward.
Detectives are particularly interested in speaking to the person who left the bag in Bomaderry.
