About 1.20am Saturday the woman was located by police at Central Railway Station.
Police would like to thank the media and public for their assistance.
EARLIER: Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a missing 91-year-old woman from Oak Flats.
Shirley Kent left home on foot about 10.30am to walk her dog, a small terrier cross breed.
She was last seen boarding a train at Oak Flats Train Station with the dog around 2pm.
CCTV footage shows her alighting at Redfern Train Station and leaving via Gibbons Street, before turning right and out of view around 4.14pm.
Ms Kent is in general good health, presents well when spoken to and will usually decline any offer of assistance.
However, Ms Kent has some issues with her memory and there are concerns for welfare.
Shirley is described as about 145cm tall, slim build, fair complexion, with short white hair.
She is wearing a dark jumper and tan/brown coloured pants. Shirley is accompanied by a small dog - terrier cross breed, wearing a blue collar and brown dog coat.
