At the end of the month, G.J. Gardner Homes Wollongong and Shoalhaven directors Nathan Fay and Sean Vickery will undertake their fifth stint in the B to B Bash fundraiser.
This is a long-running charity motor event that raises funds for Variety - the Children's Charity.
Mr Fay and Mr Vickery will be joined by G.J. Gardner Homes Sydney North director Horst Lueckl.
They're aiming to raise $100,000 for kids who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs.
Mr Fay said their team would be driving 'Delma' the shark car, a 1979 Statesman, for a 10-day journey from Bondi, travelling north on the East Coast and arriving at Batt Reef, Port Douglas, some 4300km later.
Along the way, they'll be stopping at towns and schools to talk about Variety.
"To see first-hand how the money we raise makes a difference to the lives of kids who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs is just amazing," Mr Fay said.
"We have set a high target this year and really hope the Shoalhaven and Wollongong communities can help support us.
"Thanks to the great support of our generous community, we raised over $83,000 for Variety at last year's B to B Bash."
