The accident site has been cleared and a northbound lane that was closed has since reopened.
The incident happened near the corner of the Princes Highway and Jerramatta Street.
Ambulance NSW officials were called to the incident at 2.08pm, following reports of a two-car accident.
"There are two potential patients - two males in their '60s, both complaining of minor pains in their neck and a little bit of shock," a NSW Ambulance spokesperson said.
Ambulance and Fire and Rescue NSW attended the scene.
The two men were taken to Wollongong Hospital in a stable condition.
