The Wolves moved 10 points clear at the top of the NPL table with three games remaining, meaning if APIA Leichhardt fall to Sydney Olympic at Lambert Park, the crown is theirs.
Even a draw on Sunday would make it almost impossible, as Wolves have a 23-goal differential advantage on the Tigers.
Lachlan Scott was involved in just about everything and opened the scoring on half-an-hour from a cross, before Darcy Madden doubled the advantage four minutes later after bursting through and beating the Sutherland goalkeeper.
Takeru Okada made it three by capitalising on a pass from Scott, then Englishman Thomas James completed the rout with a stunning curling effort to the top corner, after cutting back in on the left.
Wolves have now won 14 of 19 games this season, with just two losses, including 49 goals and conceding just 14 under Luke Wilkshire, in his debut season as a coach.
