Police have charged a woman after she was allegedly caught driving her car while almost nine times over the legal alcohol limit in Wollongong on Sunday.

At around 2.20pm on Sunday afternoon police were called to Spring Hill Road after reports a Suzuki Swift had crashed into a fence at Cringila.
Lake Illawarra police spoke with the female driver and she was subjected to a roadside breath test, which police say was positive.
The 34-year-old woman was arrested and taken to Port Kembla Police Station where she allegedly blew a breath analysis reading of 0.432.
She was charged with drive with high range PCA and was issued a future court attendance notice to appear at Port Kembla Local Court on Wednesday.
