Duffy Kennedy Constructions has won the tender to deliver the precinct.
Work is set to begin in late August, and is expected to be complete by April 2021.
Duffy Kennedy Constructions has 25 years' experience in construction across the residential, commercial and industrial sectors.
The company has been engaged as the design and construction contractor to deliver almost 1000sqm of ground floor retail space at The Waterfront Town Centre, as well as a private car park with lift access, a public open-air car park and 45 apartments over three levels.
The Waterfront is a Frasers Property and Shellharbour City Council joint venture.
According to Frasers, construction is expected to take 21 months and create more than 200 jobs, "with many local tradespeople, services and suppliers to benefit from the project".
Duffy Kennedy constructions managing director Gavin Duffy said the company is excited to partner with Frasers Property in the creation of The Waterfront Aqua apartments, and harbourfront restaurant and promenade precinct.
"This is a spectacular project in a beautiful natural setting and we're looking forward to getting started," he said.
