In his fifth outing as a pro, Goodman looked sharp from the outset in handing tough Filipino Claudevan Sese his second loss in 12 bouts.
It showed the benefits of a perfect preparation for the 20-year-old rising star whose record now stands at 5-0.
"I felt really a million bucks in there, it was definitely my best camp as a professional, I felt unreal and it showed in the ring," Goodman said.
"I wanted to put a pace on him early, it's only six rounds and I could've held that high pace for the full six.
"I thought it was pretty clinical, halfway through the second round I found my range and what was working for me.
"That was the plan, jump on him pretty early, pick my shots and go from there and it ended up happening pretty quickly."
It was a performance that turned all the right heads on the biggest stage he's featured on thus far.
The Albion Park product will now turn his attention to a training stint in England ahead of what he hopes will be an in-ring return before the year is out.
"You've always got that responsibility to perform and put on a bit of a show," Goodman said.
"It's a sport but, at the end of the day, we are in the entertainment business. It's not something I though about too much beforehand.
"I was more focused on the process and what I needed to do but but I knew if I did that the stoppage would come and it did."
