On Monday, a crane truck was called into lower the seven fermenting tanks in through the roof of the two-storey heritage-listed building.
Resin Brewing is setting up shop in the old Bulli station guesthouse - just metres from the train station and a bus stop.
Friends Brendan Dowd and Stephen House are behind the project, which will be a brewpub.
Due to the heritage listing, they've had to be careful with the structure - even down to the timber frames.
Each one was taken down and any that weren't termite-infested went back into the building.
They've also kept the existing brickwork.

While it may have been less hassle to find a warehouse in an industrial park, Mr House said the Bulli site was worth the extra effort.
"There's a lot of atmosphere you get from a heritage building," he said.
"You just can't get that from a factory in an industrial area. When this building is all done and dusted it's going to look amazing."
But the big question is - when can we buy a beer at the bar?
"Everyone asks that one," Mr Dowd said. "We're saying November. We're hoping to be open for that first summer rush."
