Original members Jack Jones, Virgil Donati, Geoff Cain and Peter Bowman will embark on a whirlwind tour this November and December, taking music lovers on a walk down memory lane as they traverse hits such as Hold Me In Your Arms and Heart in Danger.
Anita's Theatre in Thirroul is the only NSW concert scheduled so far, for November 29. Other dates include Thorbury and Chelsea Heights in Victoria, plus concerts on the Gold Coast and in Adelaide.
"I'm proud of everything I've done, but Southern Sons is where it all started for me," frontman Jack Jones said.
"I'm very excited about these shows. I'm very fond of these songs. The band was a great time in my life."
After seven years together the group went on permanent hiatus in 1996 - until now.
