Rodeo 4 Life will combine electrifying rodeo sports entertainment starring some of Australia's toughest bull riding champions with a full length live concert by seven-time Golden Guitar winner Travis Collins.
A star-studded line-up of bull-riding cowboys will compete for the championship title and $30,000 in prize money.
The event will donate all profits to the RPA Transplant Institute.
Rodeo 4 Life producer Doug Vickers, who is also a liver transplant recipient, said the event will raise awareness of organ donation and help fund organ transplant research.
Funds raised from the event will contribute towards the development of a world first organ perfusion system that will be able to extend organ viability. This will allow more organs to be made available for transplant and a greater number of Australian lives to be saved.
"Rodeo 4 Life audiences will be part of something that's so much more than a night of exciting entertainment - they'll have the time of their lives while giving seriously ill people time to live," Mr Vickers said.
The champion bulls come from Wagga Wagga's JP Gill & Sons. Rodeo 4 Life says the bulls start their career at about three years of age and are ridden in a rodeo arena for around two minutes each year before retiring at about 10-years-old.
They are raised in pastures and individually hand-fed daily with good quality oats, lucerne hay and molasses licks for additional vitamins to ensure they remain content and in peak condition.
