Olympic fired a late winner last weekend to beat Bulli 2-1 and take the Illawarra Premier League crown from them in the process, after Corrimal slipped up against South Coast United to put the title race beyond doubt.
In the aftermath, coach Matt Bailey, who delivered the double for Bulli last year, stepped down before the Cup final at JJ Kelly Park.
"Matt was going to stand down at the end of the season anyway, but he thought the time was right now and we respect that," Bulli president Paul Connery said this week. "He'll always be highly regarded by everyone at the club, especially for what we were able to achieve last year."
But Olympic coach George Antoniou was already wary of Bulli being up for the fight in the final even before Bailey resigned.
Bulli are out of the finals picture with two rounds remaining, after losing several key players from their last campaign, including Wollongong Wolves title-winning duo Harry Callahan and Guy Knight.
"We know how tough it will be, no doubt Bulli want to finish the season with a trophy," Antoniou said.
"So it will be a big day, we've got an opportunity ourselves to push on now and the players know it's important to keep working hard."
Tarrawanna and Wollongong United meet in the Youth Cup final at 12.15pm, before kick-off in the Bampton Cup decider at 2.30pm.
