The Kiama High School alumni first broke into the top grade in 2003, when he made his debut with the St George Illawarra Dragons against the Penrith Panthers in round nine.
Sims, the younger brother of dual international Ruan and older sibling to current Dragons stars Tariq and Korbin, as well ad CJ - who this year made her debut for the Fijian women's rugby league team, went on to pull on the Red V on 81 occasion, between 2003 and 2007.
The forward then moved onto the Brisbane Broncos, where he played 56 games for them over three seasons.
A stint with the North Queensland Cowboys (91 games between 2011-14) then followed - which was ultimately his last time in Australia.
In 2015, Sims and his family moved to the United Kingdom, where the former Australian Schoolboy (2002) penned a deal with the Warrington Wolves.
During his time with the Wolves, Sims played on 90 occasions over three seasons.
The final stop of Sims' career was with the Toronto Wolfpack, where he has currently played 27 games during his two seasons in Canada - which also saw the Group Seven junior take on a leadership position.
During his career, the now 34-year-old also played for Fiji on 12 different occasions.
