12:15pm: It's understood the driver of a vehicle which rolled onto its side near Figtree is to be airlifted to St George Hospital.
12:05pm: Traffic on the Princes Motorway heading southbound at West Wollongong is still heavy after an early crash.
Vehicles are getting through slowly, though two of three southbound lanes are still closed just before the Figtree / Mount Keira Road exit.
Traffic is heavy almost back to Mount Ousley Road.
11:30am: A person has now been removed from a vehicle which is understood to have "rolled over" on the Princes Motorway.
A NSW Ambulance media spokesman said five crews of paramedics attended the scene, after reports a "single vehicle had rolled onto its side".
Three people have been hurt.
A 36-year-old woman was found conscious and breathing with lacerations to her hand, while a 15-year-old male also suffered lacerations to his hands and arms.
The woman and teen were both taken to Wollongong Hospital in a stable condition.
The male driver - aged around 40 - was trapped for a short period inside the vehicle but was cut out of the car by firefighters.
At 11:30am he was being assessed by paramedics on scene.
Earlier: Emergency services are responding to reports of a car "rolling over" on the Princes Motorway, southbound just before the Figtree exit.
A NSW Police spokeswoman said police and ambulance were called around 10:55am on Wednesday. She said initial reports were that the car was "smoking".
Crews from Fire & Rescue NSW, NSW Ambulance and police are on scene.
It's understood three people were in the vehicle at the time of the single-vehicle crash, while one person was trapped.
Traffic heading southbound is banked up to Memorial Drive, with at least one lane blocked at the scene of the accident.
