SLOW DOWN PEOPLE
I think that Marshal Mount Road needs a greater police presence, to put a stop to the people who travel along there at speeds greater than the prescribed speed limit.

It is a narrow country road with two road bridges and people doing those kinds of speeds, tailgating those who do the right thing apropos speed, is just asking for trouble.
The increased amount of roadkill along Marshal Mount Road and Huntley Road is shocking.
And it is only occurring because certain cretins can't be bothered to slow down.
Nothing is that urgent that one cannot slow down for a cockatoo, a wombat, or another road user who is obeying the speed limit.
I know some people who would respond that speed limits are "only advisory signs", but try telling that to Fabian of the Yard when he pulls you over for breaking the law.

WASTE OF MONEY
The New South Wales Treasury is no more than an employment agency for retired politicians and conservative sympathisers; with the Treasurer, head of recruitment.
Dominic Perrottet the king in the "counting house" shaping tax and incoming finance as a banking service under the control of his loyal conservative subjects.
His latest, the formation of a six member panel to oversee and improve financial arrangements, including GST, is an abrogation of legislation that already exist, within the terms of reference of the Federal Financial Relations Council (CFFR); the body responsible for overseeing the financial relationship between the Commonwealth and the states and territories.
Take a look at some of a few panel inclusions: former New Zealand treasurer and prime minister, Bill English and retired political identity, former Australian deputy prime minister John Anderson, sure they are both fully qualified to join the panel, except for one reason ... they are not needed.
None of the panel are needed.
The panel is a duplicity and a waste of money.
This is my "boo" "hiss" moment and I'm taking advantage of it.

CLIMATE EXTREMISTS
In response to the front page by Agron Latifi, "Climate Control" (Illawarra Mercury, Wednesday August 14, 2019), what next for green-left dominated Wollongong City Council?
Perhaps the employment of the anarchist environment group "extinction rebellion"?
This federal election was centred on climate change which Labor and the Greens with their lefty mates campaigned about, but subsequently lost.
Yet, the election result apparently can be dismissed because it do not find in favour of the green-left?
Local government are supposed to be in the business of rates, rubbish, and maintenance of public parks/toilets.
Not trying to override state and federal jurisdiction in order to genuflect to the extreme environmental agenda of the United Nations?
We do not need climate extremists and extinction rebellion activists in government.
