The pond and farming land has again been strewn with large polystyrene waffle pods, used in concrete slabs, from nearby housing developments.
The netting building companies used to secure the pods has not contained the material when strong wind occurred on Monday.
The netting was also blown into the creek which could also endanger birds.
Only a few weeks ago, residents cleaned up the pond and land after wind blew more than 800 blocks from the development sites in July.
Wollongong City Council told the Mercury it had contacted suppliers of waffle pods who agreed future deliveries would be secured on building sites with netting and pegs.
