A distressed jetski rider off Coledale beach prompted a large-scale emergency response on Friday.

The jetski reportedly had engine issues and the propeller became stuck about 11.45am.
The Toll Ambulance Rescue helicopter attended after the jetski rider called emergency services for assistance.
A paramedic was winched down to check the welfare of the rider but he was uninjured and did not require medical treatment.
Surf Life Saving Illawarra support operations crews from Coledale responded on jetskis to check the welfare of the rider.
Water police also attended the scene.
The owner of the jetski, who was on a nearby boat, towed the rider back to a boat ramp.
Surf Life Saving Illawarra duty officer Anthony Turner said all agencies worked well together to ensure the rider was safe.
He reminded residents to heed any surf warnings that were in place.
Weatherzone said the swell height for the Illawarra coast was 2.5 metres.
The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a hazardous surf warning for the Illawarra coast.
Surf and swell conditions are expected to be dangerous for coastal activities such as rock fishing, boating, and swimming.
