Sassy Me, hairdressing and hair extensions specialists based in Corrimal and Penrith, have long been fans of Spring into Corrimal.
Owners Tracey and Andrew Larkham originally from Western Sydney first attended Spring into Corrimal in 2011.
"We have attended every year since then," they said. "Our son told us about the event back then and we were amazed how great it is. It's hard to put into a few words but the day is all about family and the community."
Having visited Corrimal many times, it was in 2016 when they were driving down Bulli Pass and looking at the view that they decided to sell their home in Penrith and move to Corrimal.

"We always wanted to retire on the coast but decided not to wait - life is too short so you just have to do it!
"After relocating to Corrimal it was time to find a business location to expand Sassy Me. We wanted to be in Corrimal, as it's just a great place to be, and now we are based in Corrimal CBD."
Shortly after the shop opened, Paul Boultwood, chairperson of the Spring into Corrimal, introduced himself.
"We realised how passionate he is for Corrimal and the community," Tracey said. "Paul is a giver, not often found in many people.
"Our personal involvement with Spring into Corrimal began in 2018 when we heard the the event may not go ahead due to various issues. We contacted Paul to ask how we could help out so 2019 has seen us sponsor the Grand Street Parade and offer our time to assist with the event.
"Paul and his team need to be congratulated with organising this fantastic community, family event."
The 1.3km parade along the main street was made possible with the help of Wollongong District Police commander superintendent Chris Craner as well as Corrimal RSL CEO Sara Watkins, Keira MP Ryan Park, Wollongong Lord Mayor Gordon Bradbery and Cr Jenelle Rimmer.
Singing and dancing too
Tarrawanna Public School and Corrimal High School, fresh from their performances at the recent Southern Stars event in Wollongong, will be performing on the Main Entertainment Stage in Memorial Park.
Besides singing the National Anthem, they will also be doing other songs and dancing.
Spring into Corrimal will host the Pharmacy Express Community Hub too where numerous Illawarra community groups will band together to inform festival goers of their supporting roles. Located in the Pharmacy Express car park.
A special thank you to Corrimal RSL from Spring into Corrimal chairperson Paul Boultwood.
"We have another three year agreement with Corrimal RSL to be the major supporter," Paul said. "This will be their sixth year. Without their help we wouldn't be able to do it."
