Q: What will Roxee Horror be about at the Festival?
Roxee has a spot in the Grand Parade in the morning, with a few of the girls, then I'm off to host the main stage from 10am!
When I finish there you'll find me all around the festival during the day. Probably at the food stalls, markets and rides.
Q: When will you be featuring?
I don't actually have a performance personally on the day, I am the host of the performer's stage - they start from 10am and you can find the main stage down at Memorial Park.
Q: How did you get involved in the Festival? Have you performed there before?
Chairman Paul Boultwood of Spring into Corrimal had noticed Roxee's involvement in the community and a small hosting stint I did with MTV for Mardi Gras 2017 and approached me.
I have been hosting the Main Stage at Spring into Corrimal since 2017 so this is my third year returning.
I have been attending the parade since 2007 so it is amazing to be part of it each year now.
Q: What do you think is special about Roxee Horror and the Festival?
It's special to me because it's my hometown. I love Corrimal and I love being part of this amazing event.
It is such an inclusive event; having Roxee at Spring into Corrimal shows how far forward Wollongong is now.

Behind the scenes at Spring into Corrimal
Fantastic news is that Stefanutti Construction Pty Ltd have put up their hands again this year to help keep the area secure and safe for visitors.
"We will be using our trucks to block off the roads to keep visitors safe at Spring into Corrimal," administration manager Chiara Stefanutti said. "It is a great sense of community spirit and the perfect way to welcome the warmer weather."
This is the fourth year that Wollongong Printing is sponsoring the Spring into Corrimal festival with printing needs.
Sales and operations manager Frederick Fleury said, "Networking is critical so we joined the Illawarra Chamber of Commerce and, in being local to Corrimal, I also chose to become a member of the Corrimal Chamber of Commerce.
"Supporting the Chamber also means that funds driven by the Chamber do not have to be used for printing or signage and can now be freed for other local community activities.
"We love the Festival as it has the grand parade, showcases local talent and businesses, has a great variety of foods and also offers lots of rides for the kids to enjoy.
"It is a day that brings a lot of people and families to the region. It is all about the local community and how the Chamber can bring life to the community via a variety of local community activities."
Chairperson Paul Boultwood added, "It is so great to work with companies that have a passion to help their local community."
