For A Flock Of Seagulls main-man Mike Score, every night in the '80s was about living it up.

"When we were young we partied every night, and nothing else mattered but the gig and a party," he said.
"Now, it's nothing else matters but the gig and going to bed," he laughed.
"Touring's a bit more tiring than it was when I was younger, but the tours are not as long and not as hectic."
The Liverpool new wave/synth-pop band formed in 1980 and enjoyed international success with the single I Ran (So Far Away) in 1982.
Other hit singles include Space Age Love Song (1982), Wishing (If I Had a Photograph of You) (1982), and The More You Live, the More You Love (1984).
The band won a Grammy Award in 1983 for their instrumental D.N.A.
These days, vocalist/keyboardist/guitarist Score is the band's sole remaining original member.
"I think when you reach 35 years back, it's almost impossible to have an original band doing the same and putting it out the same," he said.
Does he therefore feel a responsibility to keep the group's legacy alive?
"I wouldn't call it responsibility - to me, it's just me doing my thing," he said.
"If I'm not touring, I'm writing songs.
"Music and doing A Flock Of Seagulls, it's not to me like a job, it's just what I do.
"I never chose to do it; it chose me for some reason."
For Score, longevity seems to be based largely in sheer perseverance.
"I'm just lucky that for me, it's kept going," he said.
"It's had its lean years, it's had its great years, but it's a great lifestyle."
The best of the '80s is coming back to Australia, as '80s Mania' returns.
The tour features five of the biggest '80s international music acts: Go West, Wang Chung, The Cutting Crew, A Flock Of Seagulls and Australia's own Pseudo Echo.
The tour will visit WIN Entertainment Centre on Sunday, November 17.
Despite A Flock Of Seagulls' success Down Under, Score said the tour would be his first visit to these shores.
"We had number ones there, but I've never been there. I'm going to enjoy it, so I hope people come along and enjoy it too."
