Boyd won by three shots, ahead of Links Shell Cove's Colin Mitchell, who kept his good record at Jamberoo going, was runner-up spot with 70.
The overall nett was won by Morgan Ellson from Kiama Golf Club with a nett score of 69. Division one gross was won by Mollymook's Blake Hollick with 76. Division two gross was won by Jamberoo's Gary Harvey with 82 on a countback.
The division two nett winner was Kane Graham from Links Shell Cove with 70.
Close call
The Kiama junior pennant team travelled to Batemans Bay on Saturday for the first playoff stage of the statewide junior pennant competition.
Kiama were looking to atone for last year's defeat at the hands of Far South Coast but went down for the second straight year in a sudden-death playoff.
Wil Daibarra defeated Jye Halls 5/4, Ethan Harvey was 2-down to James Dickinson, Will Blomley beat Morgan Thornton 2-up, Sonny Ettridge outlasted Riley Bowman 2/1, Broc Callaghan lost 5/4 to Sophie Eppleston and Jett Parker went down to Bill Eppleston 4/3.
With the match locked at 3-3, Far South Coast prevailed after Golf Illawarra's No.1-ranked Wil Daibarra went down to Jye Halls on the third playoff hole.
Kessell's top 10
Wollongong Golf Club professional Jack Kessell finished 10th in the recently held Vanuatu Open after rounds of 74,72,72 and 69. Kessell, along with Jordan Zunic, Lincoln Tighe and Jordan Widdicombe are currently in the Mid-North Coast competing in a number of Pro-Am events.
Travis Smyth missed the cut at the Yeanger Tournament Players Championship in Malaysia after rounds of 72 and 76.
Smyth is India this week for the Classic Golf and Country Club International Championship.
