In a classic arm-wrestle, the Eagles, who lost last year's decider to Kiama, got off to perfect start through Ryan Mills, who bagged a try from halfway against the run of play.
The Eagles led by 4-nil and would maintain their advantage for majority of the first half.
Gerringong tightened their defence and were rewarded for their hard efforts as captain Jacob Rein secured a crucial try from dummy-half.
The Lions successfully locked the scores up at 4-all at the break.
Both sides found it tough to gain any ground with their attack due to a high error count from both teams.
The Lions had a close chance through Brad Miller who was taken over the sideline just inches away from try line.
The Eagles finally broke the deadlock with a terrific 40 metre try from Jack Middleton.
Five minutes later, Kyle Williams assisted the try of Matthew Arblaster with a perfectly waited grubber kick before Ryan Mills secured a double for the match.
Chad Pemberton landed two conversions from three attempts as Albion Park secured their eighth reserve grade premiership by 20-4.
Man of the match James Duncan, Chad Pemberton, Kyle Williams, Ryan Mills and George Campbell were outstanding for Albion Park while Daniel Brown, Kristian Jarrett, Kai Butcher and Jacob Rein were the standouts for the Lions.
