Police, fire and ambulance arrived at the scene at Masters Road, at the intersection of Springhill Road around 2.30pm.
One westbound lane, which was earlier closed to allow emergency vehicles to access the incident, reopened about 3.40pm.
It is believed the woman suffered chest injuries from hitting the steering wheel, but so far no other injuries.
