During the past 12 months, the Coniston Hotel has undergone renovations to include accommodation on its second level.
Now completed, the Coniston Hotel's 20 guest rooms all include ensuite bathrooms, complimentary Wi-Fi, 58" smart TVs and reverse cycle air-conditioning.
The hotel offers a combination of king, queen and twin bedding, plus a selection of balcony rooms, adjoining family rooms and accessible rooms.
"The property is now primed to operate as a tourism asset to the local area," hotel manager Kerry McQuisten said of the new addition to the hotel.
"We can't wait for weekend visitors to enjoy this new experience at our hotel.
"The accommodation is perfect for our function guests, out of town relatives and friends of local residents or anyone looking to travel to the beautiful South Coast for work, leisure or sport."
The pub, in operation since the 1950's, is owned by Marlow Hotel Group, who bought it about six years ago.
The group previously undertook works in the downstairs section of the pub, building a new gaming room and beer garden, and re-doing the inside.
Paul Camkin, director of Marlow Hotel Group said the second stage entailed building the new accommodation and upgrading the carpark.
"Upstairs there used to be eight old accommodation rooms for permanent tenants, as well as an old school dining room and what used to be a defunct comedy theatre in the '60s I believe," he said.
"We basically gutted all that, knocked all that out and extended upstairs... And we put a new roof on it as well."
Jason Marlow, director of the Marlow Hotel Group said they've always focused on "creating an excellent patron experience in our venues, and offering the local community high-quality yet affordable bistro and bar experiences".
