The 2019 Hidden Forest Festival is part of Shellharbour City Council's inaugural Shellharbour Surf and Skate Festival.
The concert will take place on Saturday, December 14.
To kick-start Hidden Forest into its first year, The Beautiful Girls will be headlining with their roots, folk-inflected pop, alongside three-piece indie-rock royalty The Grates.
Triple J unearthed winners, Moaning Lisa will also be taking the stage, as well as Sydney band Erthlings, with their dreamy indie-pop sound, and Benny Walker with his guitar-driven blues and roots mix.
Illawarra/South Coast acts Pacific Avenue and Lemon Row complete the bill.
Gerringong alternative rock quartet Pacific Avenue formed in 2017, and have already played alongside established acts such as Tash Sultana, Ocean Alley and the Wombats.
They will be rolling out some major summertime feelings alongside fellow South Coast indie surf rock duo, Lemon Row.
Hidden Forest will also provide festival-goers with a full day experience of food, craft beer and fine wine, and handcrafted markets.
Early bird tickets are now on-sale here.
"Inspired by the region's rich surfing culture, Hidden Forest will showcase some of our most beautiful natural areas," Shellharbour Mayor Marianne Saliba said.
"It is a fantastic opportunity to bring the community together, attract new visitors and further enhance our city's culture."
Hidden Forest is supported by the NSW Government's tourism and major events agency Destination NSW.
