The store is located at Shop 1, 273 Lawrence Hargrave Drive, Thirroul.
Vinnies NSW CEO Jack de Groot said Vinnies Shops have been well-loved in communities across Australia for more than 100 years, and have now evolved to become fashion-forward destinations for shoppers of all incomes and backgrounds.
"There is a great deal of affection for our shops that leads people to return regularly, along with donating their pre-loved, quality items to Vinnies so that they can be enjoyed by someone else," Mr de Groot said.
"Our staff and volunteers have worked very hard to launch this beautiful shop.
"We encourage everyone to drop in and experience it for themselves."
As part of the opening celebrations, customers will receive an entry to win a $50 in-store gift voucher with every item purchased until Sunday, September 29, with the winner drawn on Monday, September 30.
The shop's opening hours are Monday and Wednesday-Friday, 9am to 4pm; Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 2pm, and closed Tuesdays.
Locals interested in volunteering at the new Thirroul store are encouraged to contact retail operations manager Kerrie Meehan on 0491 333 457, or apply directly at http://bit.ly/thirroulvols19.
