The women's team surged to a 3-1 triumph over Railways Greys, with Kiarra Marsh finishing with a double and Kelsey Hughes also scoring.
It came before Park Green beat University Blue in a penalty shootout 5-3, after the being locked at 2-2 at full time in another exciting chapter of their rivalry.
Park captain Scott Govers was happy with the win and said the boys showed great momentum in the game to get the win. It was a great midfield battle between the Illawarra Kookaburras Tristan White and Jack Hayes.
Heath Ogilvie drew first blood for the Blues in the seventh minute of the first quarter when he dispossessed the Park defence and scored from a great back stick goal.
Park came back in the second quarter when Josh Mayo missed from a penalty corner but five minutes later Shane McLeish equalled the score 1-1. McLeish was on the mark again five minutes into the third quarter when he increased the score to 2-1 only for the Blues to come back and level the score through Delzel Bambridge.
In the final quarter with tensions rising, White was making great inroads for the Students, but they could not find the knockout blow to take the lead.
In extra time both goalkeepers came out on top keeping the score to 2-2 and in the shootout Park came out on top 5-3.
Kiama won the men's second grade beating Fairy Meadow 5-3.
