Back in the day
How good was McCabe Park in Wollongong more than fifty years ago. On Saturday afternoon you could play Rugby and watch the racing bikes at night going around the Velodrome. On Sunday morning you could play tennis on courts. Even the Council started a raffle to gather money for a full sized swimming pool. Now if the big potato was removed, opportunities to use this space would be accomplished. As well as that, a cable car could be built to travel from the Illawarra Rhododendron Gardens in Parrish Ave up to the Summit at Mt Keira.

Waiting with bated breath
"Fighting for our Planet must be our first Priority" by Ella Jean Evans. With all due respect to this young girl and the fight against Global Warming, she is just another student being brain washed by school teachers on this Global Warming issue. If you believe what they are telling you, give up school and live your life now, because in 2030 anybody living near the ocean will be flooded and by 2050 the world will end.
It will make no difference to the temperature of the earth, even if today we close all Coal mines, take every car off the road, close all airports, as we only generate in Australia 1.3% of the worlds alleged climate emissions. There are numerous countries in the world building Coal Fired power stations, so people can have cheap electricity, and if they don't buy it from us which is clean coal they will buy from someone else. We have been studying weather for 150 years.
1. Work out how old the world is and this would be a mere 10 seconds of life that we have studied weather patterns. 2. Check your History books you will find there's been longer droughts than the present one. 3.What wind speed do you need for a Wind Turbine to generate Electricity. 4.What wind speed do you need to turn OFF a Wind Turbine before it is dangerous. 5. How long does a solar battery last when there is no sun.
Australia generates about 1.3% of the worlds climate emissions, a report from the Paris-based think tank "The Shift Project" recently pointed out didgetial technology generates nearly three times Australia's puny share, so Australia isn't the climate enemy Mobile phones are, and the Internet, and Netflix, and U Tube. The share of digital technology has increased by half since 2013, from 2.5 % to 3.7% the report reviled. If you are so determind to do something about global warming, at your next rally get you and your friends to through all their Mobile phones into a recycle bin, this will make front page on any newspaper and show how the youth of Australia is committed to their future. I wait with bated breath.

Urgent warning response
Response to "Urgent warning on climate change" Mercury, September 24. Interesting? The World Meteorological Organisation forms part of a "United in science" review for a UN climate action summit. Given this, the World Meteorological Organisation has no impartiality and exists to push the climate crisis for the climate summit. This is climate bias, not science. On September 8, the following was widely reported; an Arctic tour ship MS MALMO with 16 passengers on board became stuck in ice on September 3 off Longyearbyen. Climate researches looking for evidence of global warming melting the icepack had to be evacuated to safety.
