Western Sydney Wanderer Tate Russell and Kai Calderbank-Park were selected in the squad that will form a key part of the Australian Under 23 side's preparations for next year's AFC Under 23 Championships.
The squad is largely made up of international-based players, with Calderbank-Park selected for his exploits with English Premier League side Burnley.
The selection marks Russell's second under 23 selection, with the 20-year-old making his Olyroos debut in the side's friendly against New Zealand at WIN Stadium in September.
January's AFC Under 23 Championships is shaping as a crucial tournament for Australia, with the competition acting as an Olympic qualifier.
The Olyroos must finish in the top three to book their place in Tokyo, with a top-four finish enough if Japan finish in the top three.
