Having moved through the preliminary rounds, the boys will do battle with St George's Banksia in Sunday's Football NSW Champion of Champions final.
With the side falling short in last year's decider, coach Mark Tyssen said they are determined to triumph this time around.
"Last season Lake Heights fell just short with a narrow loss to Arncliffe," Tyssen said.
"This season the team wants to go all the way. After an undefeated regular season and winning the premiership and the grand final the team is now gunning for the trifecta."
The side progressed to the final with a 3-0 semi-final victory over Castle Hill United, with Lake Heights largely controlling proceedings.
Youngster Ruben Mayer put his team in a commanding position with the opening two goals of the match, before Bond Stergess added the Lions third to secure their place in Sunday's final.
The Illawarra will be well represented at Sunday's Champion of Champions finals, with Football South Coast sending five teams across all age groups to the event. The five teams is joint most by any association across the state.
In the junior age groups, the University of Wollongong 16 boys will take on Earlwood in their final. The University side progressed to the decider with a tense 2-1 win over Castle Hill United on Sunday.
The Shellharbour 18 girls will also make the trip to Valentine Sports Park, with the side set to take on Rouse Hill in their final.
The girls claimed a 2-1 victory over Cronulla last weekend.
The Albion Park open women and Wollongong United 21 years women will also contest Champion of Champions finals on Sunday.
