Future Focus Financial Planning is taking a modern sustainable approach to financial planning.
Mr McDonald said the business combines their 20 years of financial planning experience in Wollongong's first values-based financial planning offering.
"We will be working alongside individuals and families in the Illawarra to provide comprehensive strategic advice on all areas finance like all quality advisers.
"The major difference being that we will work with them to uncover their personal values using the UN Sustainable Development Goals as a framework so we can help them invest their super and other savings in ways that not only achieve their financial goals but also directly support a better future for all, in line with their individual values," Mr McDonald said.
Future Focus Financial Planning is about supporting and empowering the community to shape a more sustainable future.
"We believe that it is through our decisions on investment, particularly around our Super which many people neglect, that we can collectively create the biggest impact".
Mr Vinton said he wanted to be involved in starting such a business because he wanted to offer clients the ability to invest in something they truly value.
"We are the first and only fully ethical and sustainable advise investing business in the Illawarra," he said.
Mr McDonald said he was getting a positive response particularly from the JCI community.
"They think it is great to see someone out there helping younger people access ethical and sustainable investments. I am getting a lot of people reaching out and expressing interest".
