Elderly woman dies after being struck by car at West Wollongong
An elderly woman who was walking along a West Wollongong residential street has died in hospital after she was struck by a car.

Police and Ambulance NSW responded to reports a car had collided with a pedestrian on London Drive about 10am.
Paramedics treated the West Wollongong resident, believed to be in her 80s, at the scene.
The woman was taken to Wollongong Hospital where she died as a result of her injuries.
Police established a crime scene and the 85-year-old male driver was taken to Wollongong Hospital to undergo mandatory testing.
Police inquiries are continuing and no charges had been laid by Wednesday 6pm.
