A 21-year-old man has fronted court on Tuesday accused of supplying drugs for a "sophisticated syndicate" operating in the Shellharbour area.

The man's arrest on Monday followed a 10-month Lake Illawarra police investigation into the alleged drug syndicate that supplied cocaine and 'ice'.
Police expect further arrests to be made soon.
A 21-year-old man was the sixth person arrested when police attended a residential property on Boollwarroo Parade, Shellharbour shortly after 2.30pm on Monday.
The man was taken to Lake Illawarra Police Station where he was charged with nine counts of drug supply.
Strike force investigators arrested five men during alleged drug transactions in Albion Park Rail and Shellharbour on Thursday with four of the five set to face Wollongong Local Court on Wednesday.
Five search warrants were executed at residential premises in Unanderra, Mount Warrigal and Shellharbour, with a number of items seized including prohibited drugs and weapons.
Investigators executed a search warrant at a house on Mary Street, Shellharbour on Friday, where they seized prohibited drugs and a firearm.
Charges are expected to be laid in relation to these items.
More than 30 charges have been laid to date relating to the supply of drugs, possession of drugs, dealing in proceeds of crime and weapons offences as part of the investigation.
Lake Illawarra Police District Crime Manager, Detective Inspector Glen Broadhead said the police resources and time allocated to this investigation was "quite substantial".
He said police would not tolerate the supply of prohibited drugs.
"We have a very clear message for anyone who is considering supplying prohibited drugs: this is only the tip of the iceberg," Inspector Broadhead said.
"We have drug units at Lake Illawarra and Wollongong. We will not stop with our investigation in relation to drugs and we will be quite ruthless about it.
"Our drug unit will continue to investigate those who choose to do the wrong thing, and they will face the full brunt of the law."
Inspector Broadhead said the Strike Force had targeted the alleged suppliers not users.
"We will be doing all that we can in order to catch those people who are profiteering and supplying drugs to people and particularly our kids," he said.
Investigators are expecting to make further arrests in the coming weeks.
Police inquiries are continuing.
