From 12 noon to 11pm the carpark has been transformed into a live site similar to what the club did for the Elton John concert two years ago.
Steelers Club general manager Sharon Arrow said the Rugby League Test Match live site will feature a big screen with all the action live.
"We have made great efforts to include the community in this with the First Warilla Scout Group cooking up footy fare at great prices and all our cans from alcohol and liquor are being collected for the St Vincent De Paul / Flagstaff group," Ms Arrow said.
"We donate these weekly from the club as is however they have provided us with 22 big bins for Friday's event along with other support.
"Scouts are doing burgers, nachos, pies and a sausage sizzle with all proceeds going to their club".
Ms Arrow encouraged anyone in the area to wing by and see what the club is doing to improve the precinct for the significant event for Wollongong.
