The Illawarra under 14s finished the competition atop the Thunder Pool, with the under 15s and under 13s sitting in second.

The Greater Southern under 13s also produced an impressive competition, finishing second on the ladder, while the under 14s were fifth and under 15s fourth.

Sunday's under 13s clash was a top-of-the-table affair, with the Marlins entering the match undefeated and Illawarra with just one loss.

Blake Cattle was the star for the Highlanders, the all-rounder scoring 103 to lead his side to a first-innings total of 7-225 off 40 overs.

Cattle then took three wickets with the ball, with Greater Southern unable to get ahead of the required run rate in the second innings. The Marlins ultimately reached 7-142 off 40 overs.

The under 14s was a lopsided affair, with Illawarra claiming a comfortable victory.

Nicolas Nicastri laid the platform for the win, scoring an impressive 114 to help his side to 6-280 in the first innings.

The Marlins were never a chance in the run chase, losing wickets at regular intervals to eventually reach 8-77 in a match decided by Duckworth-Lewis.

The under 15s was somewhat closer, the Marlins restricting Illawarra to 9-187 off 50 overs.

Greater Southern had a crack with the bat, however they were unable to handle Willoughby Watson and Victor Strange who took seven wickets between them.
