The Dapto resident was named best dressed in a cheeky Fashions on the Field competition for the second successive year at the local Melbourne Cup Day meet on Tuesday.
Wollongong's Gabi Tobin was the women's runner-up while Gina Honeysett, of Albion Park, won the milinary award for best hat.
"It feels more special to win this time, a lot of hard work went into this year's [look]," Ms Ketteringham said.
"I love the Fashions on the Field, the girls look so beautiful. It gives you a buzz."
Dapto teen Dwight Norris was named the best dressed man from Nathan Coelho, of Shellharbour.
The 18-year-old said he was "so shocked" to be named the winner.
"I can't believe it, I had to be peer pressured into doing it. But it was a lot of fun," Mr Norris said.
Thousands of racegoers headed to the Illawarra Turf Club to show off their fanciest attire and have a flutter.
A Melbourne Cup protest was held outside Flemington Racecourse on Tuesday. However, there was no signs of protesters at Kembla Grange.
An official crowd figure is yet to be declared, but ITC racing manager Michael Craig estimated close to 4000 people walked through the gates.
