Police will allege that Green was in a Toyota Corolla with co-accused Darren Butler and Andrew Russell pursuing a Ford Territory in which Mr Merrett was a passenger before it crashed into a fuel tanker, killing him.
Police will also allege Butler and Russell fired several shots at the Territory.
Green was granted bail at Sydney's Supreme Court on Wednesday under a number of strict conditions.
These include that she not contact Butler or Russell and that she only live with her mother in Unanderra.
Green will have to comply with a curfew and be in that house between 8pm and 6am.
She is also banned from drinking alcohol or entering any place where alcohol is sold.
Green will return to Wollongong Local Court on November 27. The sum of $500 will be forfeited if she fails to appear.
