A 14-year-old boy has been transported to hospital after falling from the train platform at Helensburgh station.

NSW Ambulance paramedics were called to the station around 11am, after reports the boy had fallen between the platform and a stationary train.
NSW Ambulance Inspector Matt Sterling said he had been extricated by bystanders, and was found to havea head injury.
The ambulance rescue helicopter was called in to land at nearby Rex Jackson Oval and the boy was further assessed by doctors on board.
The boy was then deemed to be "quite stable", Inspector Sterling said, and was transported to Sydney Children's Hospital by road.
