The grand final rematch lost a little luster, with both teams missing a number of key players, but that didn't stop the defending premiers from flexing their muscles.
Blake Roach claimed four wickets in his opening spell before Ryan Smith took three of his own, the Lakers pair ensuring Oak Flats were all out for 123.
Brendan White then produced an unbeaten 71 as Lake Illawarra chased down the target in the 24th over.
"It was great to bounce back from last week's loss," Lakers captain Mark Ulcigrai said. "With the calibre of players we had out, it was a great performance.
"Our bowling was exceptional, Blake Roach at the top and then Ryan Smith chipped in with a few more wickets."
In other matches, Shellharbour defeated Albion Park and The Rail beat Kookas.
