Two women have been charged with perverting the course of justice as part of an investigation into the alleged murder of a man in a drive-by shooting in the Illawarra last year.

The man died at the scene of the Unanderra shooting early on February 14, 2018, and was later formally identified as a 33-year-old local Nathan Costello.
NSW Police say the investigation has uncovered links to an alleged drug supply syndicate operating in the Lake Illawarra area.
A 31-year-old woman was arrested in October and charged with intending to pervert the course of justice and other charges.
Police will allege in court the woman assisted a man who allegedly was in possession of ammunition, firearm parts and stolen property.
The Dapto woman was granted strict conditional bail and is due to appear at Wollongong Local Court on Tuesday.
A second woman, aged 37, also was arrested in October and has been charged with multiple offences, including supplying a prohibited drug and intending to pervert the course of justice.
Police will allege in court the woman assisted a man to avoid police in September 2018, and was also involved in the supply of ice in the Illawarra area.
The Barrack Heights woman was granted strict conditional bail and is due to appear at Port Kembla Local Court on December 4.
A 33-year-old man has previously been charged over Mr Costello's alleged murder and remains before the courts.
Investigations are continuing, and further arrests are expected.
