Greyhound Racing NSW appointed Grant Carroll to take control of the weekly Dapto Dogs meeting, as a bitter legal stand-off unfolds with the Agricultural and Horticultural Society, who intend to redevelop the land for commercial and community purposes.
On Thursday morning, Carroll told the Mercury all pre-booked and regular events would proceed as planned, including Saturday's camel races.
"Everything will be full steam ahead," Carroll said.
"We're waiting for the court judgement to determine the organisation and running of other events, but I certainly have no issue with ensuring everything will proceed as planned.
"We had the plant market go ahead last week and the markets were a great success."
On Thursday, a spokeswoman for the Supreme Court confirmed the injunction put in place last week to allow greyhound racing to continue at the site will remain in place, while the judge considers a verdict from Tuesday's hearing, when the judgement was reserved.
The first race at Dapto will be run at 7.13pm.
Last week's race meeting began almost an hour after it was scheduled after GRNSW only gained access to the site about 5.30pm.
GRNSW chief executive Tony Mestrov has declared his "concerns" about "financial reporting" of the club, at the end of negotiations over a new three-year contract with GRNSW, covering racing dates and broadcast and betting revenue.
It came after DAHS chairman Noel Leslie declared the track would close and the board would pursue a "progressive strategic plan" to redevelop the site.
