Shellharbour's Ellen Perez has finished her season on a high, claiming a doubles Challenger title in Houston.

The 24-year-old partnered with Brazilian Luisa Stefani to move through the competition, the pair running into Japan's Ena Shibahara and Canada's Sharon Fichman in the final.
The decider was a close affair, Perez and Stefani dropping the first set 6-1, before they bounced back to claim the second 6-4 and the deciding tiebreaker 10-5.
Perez's doubles ranking has now risen to number 54 in the world and she said she was pleased to finish the season with a victory.
"Ending the 2019 season on a high!!" Perez posted on Facebook.
"We came away with the title today 1.6 6.4 10.5. Nice to claim a 125k title and get my doubles ranking back up to 54 in the world.
"2019 was a fun season! Plenty of highs and lows in results but overall had a blast being on the road and doing what I love!"
