A Shellharbour man has declared November his lucky month after winning almost $300,000 in Keno.

The regular player, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his Keno 9 Spot winning entry at Ocean Beach Hotel in Shellharbour.
He will pocket a prize worth $296,805.10 after his numbers came in for game 515 on Thursday.
The man said this wasn't the first time he had scored a major prize.
"Last year in November I won a Keno 8 Spot prize, but this is even better," he said.
"I decided to give the 9 Spot a go yesterday and then went to check my ticket this morning.
"I had no idea. I can't believe it was me.
"I always play the same numbers, they aren't based on anything special but they're definitely my lucky numbers now."
When asked how he planned to enjoy his windfall, the winner said he planned to renovate his house and take an overseas trip.
"This has come at such a good time," he said.
Ocean Beach Hotel general manager Haley May said she was excited to discover one of her patrons had won such a huge prize.
"We haven't had a win this big before," she said.
"The last Keno win was around $20,000 so we are thrilled.
"Congratulations to our winner from all the staff at Ocean Beach Hotel. We wish him the best of luck."
