International Day of People with Disability is a great time to get out and try something different.

Here is a list of some of the events taking place:

Celebration of Ability 2019 - Gingerbread Decorating

Monday, December 2 - 10-11.30am at Wollongong City Library, 41 Burelli St, Wollongong.

Come along and enjoy decorating yummy gingerbread biscuits. All materials provided. Call 4227 7414.

Horse Wisdom - Equine Assisted Learning

Tuesday, December 3 - 10am-1pm at North Terrace Equestrian Services, Darkes Road, Dapto.

The Clinic will show the benefits of Horse Wisdom through "communication" and understanding the eques language. Activities include: horse safety and awareness, grooming, riding and mounted activities.

Zone Bowling

Tuesday, December 3 - 10-3pm at Zone Bowling Illawarra, 47 Princes Hwy, Albion Park Rail.

Zone Bowling are celebrating IDPwD with one game of free bowling for people with a disability and their carers! To lock in your game please visit zonebowling.com/bowling-activities/people-with-a-disability or call 1300 368 067.

There is also a three day Paralympic Sports Celebration at Sydney Olympic Park from December 2-4.
